On one hand it's fitting to be taken out by Ramsey like the last premier evil badass, Tywin, got taken out by his own son.

However, unlike Tywin he should have seen it coming. The only carrot he teased Ramsey with was the fact that he could be elevated from a bastard to a lord...of course Ramsey would do anything to keep his place secure.

As far as the bigger picture is concerned it's interesting how the old kings/lords involved in the previous war are getting taken out by the next generation...both good and evil
