and made even worse in that the time spent on that scene could have been used to make whatever in the world was going on during the episode a bit more understandable since that time could have been spent to move the story forward in the clearer fashion. Perhaps Amazon is underwriting this season of Mr. Robot and that explains that idiotic, ham-fisted way the Alexa was used in the episode? That's the only thing that would make sense to me.
