I'm saying you could have had a fine movie with the same
level of similarity.
I'm saying the problems were with BASIC film stuff: pacing,
hokey storytelling.
Like you, I would have PREFERRED an original story.
But the events themselves weren't my issue.
The pacing and storytelling and hokey dokey-ness was.
