I caught Blade runner this weekend. Yep, I am talking about that scene with Rachael and Deckard in his apartment.

No way a scene like that would be made today. I think I get what was suppose to be going on, but watching today it's just cringe-worthy.

Good breakdown here and I think I agree, Deckard is the bad guy in the movie (which I kind of think is the point).

Then there is a similar scene in Rocky of course

I couldn't find the whole scene but it begins with him using some pretense to get her into the apartment.

Anyway these are the first two that come to mind when I think about it but I am sure there are plenty of scenes like this in older films right?

I am thinking they would make good discussion points for colleges to discuss date rape and the sort.

I can imagine alot of pre-90s sex comedies are like that (porgies).

When he had the mask on? Then she 'fell in love' with him afterwards? It's amazing the perspective you get after getting older.

I'm scared to watch Sixteen Candles again.
705775, Yea it is!

How they didn't pick up on that during filming is strange to me...
