Like, why are you dismissing MY opinion by relegating
it to "what I relate to culturally."

Is that not the case for every accolade given to every
film in the history of the industry? As in, aren't most
opinions about what people relate to culturally?

So why does it come up NOW?

I'm asking because I have this problem ALL THE TIME.

Whenever I put something BLACK on par with something white,
revered and sophisticated, I get that pat-on-the-back "Oh, I
know why you like that black thing, it connects to you better."

LMAO

That's true for every single subjective opinion about everything,
ever.

It don't just apply to me.

So unless I see you using that exact argument in *every* art
discussion with *everyone* else, don't use it with me.
