The event has major ramifications on Sansa, Theon, and Ramsey. All three. And cutting to Theon in order to spare us the sight of watching a girl get raped (something they *haven't* done in the previous rape scenes on this show) is *not* the same thing as "making the scene about Theon's redemption."
