A lot of factors fit, and the fact that H'ghar was in captivity has always been a glaring "hole" in the storyline.
If we assume that to be the case, that then begs other questions... Why would Syrio/Jaqen see so much in Arya? How did Ned find him? And If Syrio really is the "best swordsman in Braavos", what does he care about the affairs of Westeros?
If that Syrio <--> Jaqen link is true, then what's Arya's endgame in all this?
