someone asked in the column how could a shapeshifting badass like H'ghar have been caught and that it's always been speculated about with the idea that he's purposely showing up in Arya's life.

so my theory was that her sword teacher at King's Landing and H'ghar are the same person. i mean, i've always kind of thought that, but then I was thinking that Arya has Meryn Trant on her kill list, and he is one of the guys that her teacher was fighting off so that she could get away. could he then have let himself be captured once she had escaped and that's how he ended up locked up on the back of a cart in transport?

i can't quite recall the story of his arrest or where he was being taken from or to, so i could be totally wrong based on those factor, but it's an interesting theory.
