she cut loose the horses and they start to scatter in the the commotion, but then MOMENTS after this chase Littlefinger and the squad roll thru on their horses (let alone that the dudes who chased Brienne and Podrick were on their horses QUICK).
all that is to cosign your point that i didn't really like the whole Brienne and Podrick storyline this episode (or last).
