The babysitter coming up short was the most random and gratuitous scene in the whole movie.
It's all solid PG material until suddenly the pretty, seemingly mute British babysitter has the worst, most dragged out death scene in the whole movie. Not even the "villain" of the movie goes out that badly.
A friend said it was like if somehow Rob Zombie got onto the set just to shoot that one scene.
