has not skipped a beat.
damn damn damn © flora of good times

i think i figure where/o the ci is hiding.

kalinda is still looking good and a mystery,
but still looking good.

685523, nice season opener
Posted by Calico, Mon Sep-22-14 01:45 PM
Carey should have a nice case against law enforcement after all of this is over...

kalinda undercover should be cool, that scene with her and Bishop ( i think that's the drug dealer's name) was great....dude is mad unrealistic getting involved in the street level like that though...

Diane is bring 38 mil in clients and they can't scape toether 1.5 mil for Carey??? why is she joining them again?

i still don't care about Peter Florrick
685928, ep 2: did bishop really do it?

685936, Loving the Bishop/Cary storyline.
Posted by SoulHonky, Mon Sep-29-14 04:38 PM
And it's finally a good Kalinda storyline.

I was waiting for some "Gotcha" moment at the end with Canning or David Lee dropping the hammer but they seemed to get out. Although it obviously won't go that easily.

Surprised to see Danny Hoch but his character was an interesting little sideshow.

I'm glad someone finally brought up the fact that Alicia represents some shady clients and how it would affect her run for State's Attorney. That was the only thing bugging me in the first couple episodes. But this show is really building off of last season and, personally, I'm more than happy to be done with the WIll & Alicia storyline.

685951, Great second episode

Posted by SankofaII, Tue Sep-30-14 10:48 AM
which isn't saying much since the show has been BRILLIANT it's ENTIRE RUN...

i love how each season is better than the last one....

Season Six is starting off on an amazing foot here!

this is what gets me, they been on for six seasons and they haven't slipped up too major. the only misstep they had in their run was the Kalinda husband storyline but they deaded that quickly
686043, how is the blonde lady their investigator?
Posted by Calico, Tue Sep-30-14 02:14 PM
i mean, does she still have time between her secretary duties?? i never noticed she was doin all that...
686058, I assumed she was just filling in
Posted by SoulHonky, Tue Sep-30-14 04:35 PM
While the secretary was at lunch or something because she didn't have anything to do.

Mostly I think it was just that the writers rather her have interaction with Taye Digg rather than a random secretary.
686135, they just seem to always show her answering phones
Posted by Calico, Thu Oct-02-14 07:09 AM
and greeting clients rather than actually investigating, but the show has Kalinda for that...

but Kalinda isn't working for Florrick, Agos and now Lockhart.

Kalinda still works for EX-Lockhart and Gardner (wait are they still going with the Gardner now that Will is good dead?) I think....

687067, I thought she switched (no pun intended)
Posted by SoulHonky, Wed Oct-15-14 01:36 PM
She was one of Diane's dealbreakers so I thought she was with Florrick/Agos now.

I'm still wondering what happened between Archie and Julianne. It's been like a season and a half now since they shared a scene. Kalinda visiting Alicia at the cabin to drop off some clothes was their last scene.
686055, Yooo

bishop is a smooth mother fucker.

i have a feeling that the intern is
the governor's daughter.

a lot of dirt is about to hit the
fan.

I think he's been smanging the mom though. I do wonder what else Eli has to tell her. The Kalinda thing was a bombshell to him, but obviously he's holding back something much worse.

The Bishop thing is a nice twist. She was running because she thought the SA's office was corrupt. Now Bishop has put her in a position where she's probably more corrupt than any of the previous States Attorney.

687024, Is corrupt

Besides the mess they pulled/are pulling with Cary
They JUST pulled her ass over for a non offense DUI

Bishop has her in grey area
Not more corrupt yet

687068, Bishop's been amazing this season.
Posted by SoulHonky, Wed Oct-15-14 01:39 PM
I loved the scene when he was just saying, "No." to them.

And I'm assuming that Connie Nielsen being cast in the role of the intern's mom means she'll be around for a bit. Loved Peter's, "I told you, I wasn't sleeping with the intern..."

Eli learning more about Peter and being torn between him and Alicia could get very interesting this season.
687124, archie punjab(?) is leaving at the end of season 6
Posted by boyd, Thu Oct-16-14 02:10 AM
but the good news she's heading towards a new show
687146, would yall say it was her or the writers
Posted by lfresh, Thu Oct-16-14 09:45 AM
or a combo of really good talent well utilized

people say she was under utilized
i think she did her job so well we wanted more but more would have meant taking away from the main character

i dunno

oh i'm sad about her departing
so happy she has an opportunity for her own show
hope they dont chicken out on her product

687163, I still think she and Juliana had a falling out
Posted by SoulHonky, Thu Oct-16-14 11:21 AM
30+ episodes since they've shared a scene. That string might have been broken this season but I don't remember them having a scene together. Last one was when Alicia was in the rural area trying to depose the guy that Canning was keeping away from her and Kalinda dropped off some clothes.

Outside of the conspiracy theory, the biggest problem with Kalinda was that people loved her character so the writers forced in all of these b-stores for her and they never worked: her rivalry with Friday Night Lights dude, her husband, her rivalry with Irish dude and her girlfriend cop, the Kalinda/Cary relationship. She got some new life during the split and she was kind of a double agent but that was short lived. While her relationship with Alicia was strong, she really shined in the procedural element/cases of the week and the show has moved away from those. They probably should have just spun her character off.

Yup. And sine Marguiles is a producer on the show, she has a LOT of pull in making this happen.

Which is shame, because prior to this, they spoke highly of each other and were genuine friends, etc.

It sucks because I dug Alicia and Kalinda as friends...I will say that's something Alicia lacks on the show, is a geunine friend to turn to.

I suspect or hope Alicia and Kalinda get some kind of moment of closure now that Panjabi is leaving...

I mean, I get it, Alicia is pissed off at her for fucking Peter. But, um, she fucked Will so it's like can you REALLY shade Kalinda out like that knowing you let your best friend from law school hit it and quit it multiple times?

Married or not, Alicia has always rang a bit hyopcritical in that regard.

and the writers clearly fucked up the chances they had to create these interesting ass storylines for a character that so many fans love.

the b stories were lame and not up to snuff in regard to who the writers wrote Kalinda as: this very intelligent, powerful, resourceful and honestly, very ambigious (sexually, morally, emotionally etc.) investigator who played with folks agendas but always had something else going on. You don't create that kind of character and saddle her with that god awful ass "abusive husband" storyline where Kalinda was not somehow terrified of his abuse, turned on by it and revolted by it all at the same time and in the same episode or hell, even from scene to scene. that kind of flip flopping was ridiculous.

and the love interests? lame...god damn, Kalinda got some of the lamest love interests (Cary included) on the show...men *AND* women. SMH

basically, the writers had a goldmine in Kalinda but clearly didn't know just WHAT to do with her....and it really showed in the fourth season onward...
687418, ah...i had no idea

I'm still in for this season and the Good Wife remains in my top 5 of shows.

- I always felt like Carey was underutilized and he was always treated more like a junior associate. even in this new partnership he default to alecia. Good to see them center on him a bit but damn if he was being fucked with. Finally get bail and come out to find you have another new partner.

- Having Bishop even as a past client will come back and hurt Alecia.

- Wow Archie leaving after this season is sad. Kalinda hasn't been bad ass for a bit and that last storyline with the ex husband was wack. I liked when they played her asexual and oppose to the flip flopping. She really has waaay more chemistry with women than Carey.

Only time they fell down for me was with that Irish guy Will found. Dude came in and just disappeared. And will be get and episode of get back with David lee and Loius Canning?

Man Eli's face when Peter introduced interns mom. I would love to see him ditch Peter and ride for Alecia if she wins.

Diane ditching was bad ass.

kalinda has more chemistry with the women
than the carey.

and whatever happen to the other
investigator?
687733, Episode 6 had some laugh out loud moments
Posted by boyd, Mon Oct-27-14 03:00 PM
but it was the type of laugh out moments a person
have had seen the series

the recurring characters are the best.

but where is the blonde investigator?
688038, Kalinda is definitely getting killed this season
Posted by PimpTrickGangstaClik, Mon Nov-03-14 04:29 PM
She keeps flying a little to close to Bishop. It seems like that outcome might be too predictable (esp. with her leaving the show), so I would be surprised to see something else happen.
688062, Or she kills Bishop & goes to prison
Posted by Ray_Snill, Mon Nov-03-14 11:44 PM
And Castro is totally working for Bishop. Besides Finn he was the only one that knew Trey was alive & his location, then he turns up dead?

Posted by PimpTrickGangstaClik, Tue Nov-04-14 11:34 AM
Maybe witness protection or something? Because Kalinda got him to talk somehow. She probably knows somebody who can make him "disappear".

688088, why would she make him disappear when she need him for Cary?
Posted by Ray_Snill, Tue Nov-04-14 12:25 PM
the only people that have anything to gain by him being dead is Castro & Bishop, and Bishop obviously had no clue where he was. Castro, knowing full well Cary is innocent is still making a charge for him, why is that?

This season kind of lagged in the middle but this one knocked it out of the park. And glad to see the guy who plays Lamond Bishop is getting attention.

I think Prady is going to drop the hammer on Alicia pretty soon.
