into the show. It's the reason that Brody stuff became intolerable. By all accounts, dude should have died season 1, at the very least, some point during season 2. But the writers were enamored with their "love" story and forced the issue. I guess that's how they hook women viewers. Who knows.

But they're doing the same thing with Quinn. There is NO reason for their to be a romance between those characters other than women viewer fan service IMO. The writers must think that ultimately, Homeland is about love. And that's not good. Just focus on the suspense. The spy craft. The sudden bursts of action. I don't need character shipping.
