the whole tone of the movie SCREAMED 1993. It's like they just didnt have the budget to "dress the sets" in early 90's style, so they just said "fuck it. we'll do it live!"-O'Reilly

To set this movie in present day made zero sense to me. I also didn't believe for a second that a major network news affiliate would or even could show footage of a guy filming dead people at a homicide even if the faces were blurred out. And not even if the producer is in sweeps mode fighting for her job.

An incredible character and portrayal ultimately soured by a bizarrely unrealistic setting.
