she went backwards to the point where she doesn't even realize she's a clone. and as great as it looks, I thought the action in the second half was much too frantic and hard to follow.

I'm sure Anno has a secret Eva outfitted with a cigarette and loose tie that one of them will pilot in the finale, where they'll kill an angel with a handgun John-Woo-style.
