Ahhh, there's something about picking up an X-Men comic that feels like going home again. (In that it probably only happens every 3 years and lasts no longer than a week) But it can be a lot of fun, too. So far, this is fun. The premise is just the right kind of ridiculous, Cyclops is a diiiiiiiiick – Seriously, that "X" thing he does with his arms in #1? Funniest comic book moment of the decade.

Immomen's art and those classic X-Men costumes are a joy to look at, and I'm digging the light commentary inherent in a story in which the original X-Men must confront what they later become. The Bendis factor has me a little worried but so far so good. I'm trying not to think too hard about it.
