Rape scenes really get to me. Which is why Boys Don't Cry got to me and why I'll never make it through the Fincher version of A Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

I saw Happiness when I was in college and thought it was deep and chilling, which I guess it was. But I saw part of it about five years ago and thought at that time it was trite and pretentious. But I can't imagine going back to that movie. It's brutal.

Requiem for a Dream was something I actually saw twice but I couldn't sit through it again. Just too graphic.
