she always did stuff like this. she's always done a mix of indie and commerical projects.

so this isn't anything new for her.

664265, So who wants to take bets on the twist?
Posted by Jayson Willyams, Fri Oct-18-13 01:15 PM
500:1 Liam is actually the hijacker

20:1 Julianne Moore is the hijacker

15:1 Liam Neeson's twin brother is on the flight, and he's the hijacker

10:1 mousy brunette flight attendant is the hijacker

even money: THE PLANE IS HIJACKING ITSELF
664274, The obvious answer...
Posted by Frank Longo, Fri Oct-18-13 04:15 PM
... seems to be Moore. But I love the Neeson twin twist.
664341, The pilot is the one who is behind it...

Setting up the frame up and planning to blow the plane to cover himself and fake his death.

664348, How 'bout
Posted by nipsey, Sat Oct-19-13 11:38 PM
There was no plane

or

It's all a dream

or

Everyone is already dead. And the plane is purgatory. If you "die" on the plane, you go to hell. If you survive when the plane lands in London, you go to heaven.

673680, Not sure if it was just me
Posted by lexx3001, Mon Mar-03-14 12:54 AM
I mean I liked it. I didn't love it. It was fun and all but the end killed it for me. Too neat of a wrap up. The "twist" was too convenient too. I had a really bad Nicolas Cage in "The Rock" or "Con Air" aftertaste. In a bad way. Those movies were fun for the 90s but this just felt a little dated?
673683, The ending obviously makes no sense whatsoever.
Posted by Frank Longo, Mon Mar-03-14 01:35 AM
And it's only "neat" in the sense that it provides a resolution, albeit one that makes zero sense.

I liked this movie a lot, but Con Air is about 10000 x better. Con Air RULES.
673728, Thats what Im saying
Posted by lexx3001, Mon Mar-03-14 01:13 PM
the whole time i was watching, i had that visual of Cage in slow motion with his mullet flowing in the wind as the camera rotates around him, bad boys style lol
673874, it was much better than i expected
Posted by woe.is.me., Wed Mar-05-14 07:26 PM
not a perfect film, but absolutely held my attention the whole time.
