- idk if Inside Man was his last overall good/respected film he got DTRT, Malcolm X, Bamboozled, Summer of Sam and He Got Game. and for the record i didn't mind/liked She Hate Me and Red Hook Summer. also he gots When The Leeves Broke, A Huey P Story and 4 Little Girls

3. Paul Thomas Anderson
-There Will Be Blood, Boogie Nights, Punch Drunk Love... shiieeeet. Even though i didn't particularly like Magnolia the performances he got out of Cruise, my boo Julianne Moore, and PSH gets props. Also i thought the Master was powerful, if not great

4. Terry Gilliam
-Brasil, 12 Monkeys, Fear & Loathing.. the end

5. Wes Anderson
-Royal Tenenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom, Fox are great. Life Aquatic is damn good. Dajeeling good too

6. Darren Aronofsky
-only misstep is The Fountain

7. Alejandro Iñárritu
made my favorite movie of the last 15 years Amores Perros. only misstep is Babel

8. Martin Scorsese
-post 1979 he's got Goodfellas, Casino, Raging Bull (which I don't love but respect), Aviator, and The Departed

9. Kubrick
-i mean, post 1979, The Shinning and Full Metal Jacket alone mean he could be #1-5

9 & 10 is a battle between spike jonze, curon, del toro, gondry, the wochowskis, and ritchie (yeah i said it)
