But Steve McQueen does 12 Years and repeatedly says he couldn't have made it without help from a White dude with a bunch of adopted kids lol

I think we should just let White people be White, we'll be sitting here forever waiting on one of them to write a great Black character, and I know that's not what you're saying but I just take these movies for what they are because you really can't expect some people to relate.

It was almost the end of Inside Llewyn Davis and it occurred to me I hadn't seen one Black character ( I think the second couple at the gorfreids was interracial ) but when a Black man finally showed up there he was, dressed in all white being asked to clean up a White man's shit.
