Y'all ready for more Will McAvoy?

While I enjoyed the season premiere, something just kinda rubbed me the wrong way.

There was a video package that was coming up in the show, but the reporter who recorded the track earlier in the day got some information wrong. Unfortunately he was out to dinner at a loud restaurant. They told him to "get in a quiet place" so they could have him say it over his old lines. If you see the episode, you'll know the scene.

My thing? Almost impossible.

His voice would have to be EXACT exact. Miss me w/ that "say it again but faster"
Reporters record those tracks in sound proof booths. It would sound horrible coming over a cell phone no matter how quiet a place he found. Now, I get that they have to take certain liberties with this fake news network because it's a TV drama. I get that. But to pull off something like this? Ha ha...no.
656037, Yeah, I thought the same thing

Plus, they would have been better suited to just have someone in the studio re-read it then to call the guy and have him do it.

..if i were a journalist, i'd prob'ly hate this show (and i don't hate anything)

they had/have a great premise for this series, and an opportunity to shed some light on the interesting world of journalism. instead they've decided to focus on the soap opera.

They've cooled out on all the relationship shit of late, so I'm happy.
659474, yeah it's been great that they've pushed it to the background

I gotta be honest, I'm disappointed in this season. While it was great fan service, they didn't really advance ANY of the plot lines.

WTF, yo?!
661074, the show is bad tv masked as good tv...

i still watch it but i don't expect much from it. it has all the makings of a great show but just doesn't ever deliver. it has some good moments here and there though.
