TWD is based on a comic, they're suuposed to be illogical if you think about them outside of the worlds they were created in
and saying 'nobody's likable' is an untrue blanket statement; Dale, Herschel, Carol, Maggie, Morgan...come on now
everything about that show works fine in the world Hickman created

all of those shows have a lot of ridiculous shit happening in them, which is weird you say thatbecause they're more rooted in reality/real world shit than TWD so I'd think that sort of thing would be kept to a minimum
but I like all those shows listed, especially Boardwalk
