Question....Is the walking in the sun supposed to be an evolution of sorts for the vampires? Like is this supposed to set them up for walking around regularly during the day next season?

And Billith Christ was kind of a headscratcher. Why didn't Bill just free Jessica and the others, and have them hide somewhere in the building away from the daylight, at least until he closed the roof? Or was he performing vampire miracles?
