650200, SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY: RZA. Paul Walker. Brick Mansions.

Apparently they're now shooting in Montreal a film called "Brick Mansions." Paul Walker plays what Paul Walker is meant to play: an undercover cop. He's looking for a NEUTRON BOMB in a project run by RZA, a druglord. HOLY SHIT, this is either going to be awesome or terrible, and in the latter case, it'll beso terrible that it's awesome. I'm IN for opening weekend.

THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME IS CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION

WRITTEN BY DANGER GUERRERO

OKAY EVERYBODY SHUT UP BECAUSE I HAVE IMPORTANT NEWS: 1) RZA and Paul Walker are making a movie together titled Brick Mansions; 2) READ THESE SENTENCES.

The script sees Walker play an undercover cop who is tasked with going into a tenement named Brick Mansions in order to disarm a neutron bomb that is ticking down.

RZA will play the formidable drug warlord in the community who is in possession of the bomb.

The movie is currently shooting in Montreal.

Okay, a few things:

1) Yes.

2) Cancel the Oscars and give all of the awards to this film.

3) Just so we’re all clear here, at some point in the near future there is going to be a movie where the mastermind of the Wu-Tang Clan has procured a neutron bomb and is storing it in the projects, and the country’s only hope is that an undercover police officer played by Paul Walker can get to it and defuse it before it does this to some unfortunate chunk of the country.

4) YES.

5) We are all going to see this movie.

650384, I thought that was Dredd.

But I'm in the minority on not liking that one, it seems.
650407, It's a remake of B13.

I'm serious.
677327, Obviously - I saw it from the trailer.

677310, It's fun. RZA and Walker rule.

Editing gets choppy, but it gave me everything I wanted. And RZA gets some killer one-liners to work with-- he chews the scenery.
677318, So no mention of the French dude who does all the stunts?

I figured he'd be the best part of this flick?

Have you seen what this movie was based on? Great action silly lines and highly entertaining.
677328, He's obviously great at action...

... but his English acting is hilariously bad. And it doesn't help that they obviously dubbed over his voice, and they did the poorest dub job in the world. Emily leaned over to me at one point and said, "Why does this sound like voiceover?"

I seriously can't recall the last time a character was dubbed over so badly.

But it is funny. And it helps the sense of silly fun that pervades in the film.
677345, Sigh. Just makes me more upset about Walkers death.

He’s excellent in his lane, and Bryan O’Connor is action movie royalty right alongside Dom Torreto in arguably the GOAT action franchise. Actually, I’m not even sure it’s debatable at this point.

1 is a classic, 2 is just about the epitome of the USA Sunday Afternoon guilty pleasure movie, while 4-6 pretty much shit on most action franchises while managing to keep things fresh enough that people still wanted more fast, more furious, as soon as humanly possible.

I digress, but the point is that Walker is about as iconic as a one trick pony can possibly be and still have credibility as a legit movie star. I’m going to see this on GP, because I miss that dude.
Oh, and I still think Running Scared was dope. Definitely underrated, but he’s pretty much the GOAT U.C in film.

I basically watch every movie he’s in and pretend it’s Bryan O’Connor on another assignment, and it works. He’s proof that typecasting really can be a good thing. Can’t wait for this, because he brings a level of anticipated awesome that only he can. Bryan O’Connor in a in a fight was always worth the price of admission.

Yes, this was essentially a love letter to PW’s memory.
