I've never seen a student film with a performance as good as Lohan's here. And even if you don't like what Deen is doing, he is giving a focused performance in his director's vision.

This one is odd, as there's really only one scene of exposition I'd call heavy and gratuitous (the psychiatrist scene). There's too much going on in the plot, but considering the motivations of some of these characters are pretty unspoken, I wouldn't call this an especially exposition-heavy film. Plenty of films have more. 2 Guns had more exposition this weekend alone.
