I dig the show, they already introduced black canary, merlyn, deadshot, and deathstroke, waiting to see who mr. Diggs turns into..

Never read the comic and had no knowledge of the character at all, but I'm really digging the show so far. Pretty dark they don't mess around kinda dark similar to the new batmans.

I like the show. It's got moments where it's a little two CW for my tastes, but when I'm watching a show where I can hear a line like "...the 10:40 to Bludhaven" my geek ass is totally on board.

I like how he's straight up killed a *lot* of people. Kind of necessary with a bow and arrow I suppose, but I'm glad they haven't totally shyed away from it

I also like how his time on the island is being told slowly through flashbacks. I wish they would do this in more comic book movies, especially with newly rebooted properties. It saves the boredom of watching the same, but slightly different, chain of events fall in to place to make the hero become the hero (see the most recent Spiderman movie)

It kinda bugs me how quick to kill he is but I'm okay with it.

I like the show, but I'm still curious as to how they make her sonic scream realistic somehow...

and the huntress coming to Arrow? *hells yeah!*

They just said her full name. And she showed some kung fu styles a week or so after. That's it.

As for Merlyn... it's just his best friend. No reveal other than just the name.

first off, i'm glad the bodyguard knows who he is. i was hoping thye wouldn't drag that on and on. also, i'm glad they actually kill people with his arrows. it's hard to believe that people wouldn't die. also, CW picked it up for 18 episodes

his bodyguard is named Diggle. andy diggle wrote green arrow year one

judge grell, obviously a shout out to mike grell

ollie's sisters' nickname is speedy, and she has a drug issue.

they also had a father and daughter in Ep. 2 with the last name nocenti. (i assume after ann nocenti)

felicity smoak was the IT employee working for queen industries and helped access the hard drive in the laptop that was shot up. in the comics, smoak is a supporting character of Firestorm.

I AM watching Beauty & Beast, which is surprisingly good.

it's been rumored that he may be count vertigo, or vandal savage, or maybe even deathstroke.

I think they're just retcon'ing Merlyn.

In the comics Merlyn becomes one of green arrows arch villians, he is also an archer, one version in the comics has it actually be tommy merlyn his best friend, who becomes a patient zero of sorts, in the more established version he does not know oli personally but is still an archer...

and they've already casted the guy that's gonna be Roy Harper. some guy from Teen Wolf. whatever.

I will say, I wish they'd go in on some of these villains though instead of them being just seemingly casual nods to their comic counterparts.

Although, like Revenge, I was in in the beginning but am starting to fall off. They need to get a better recurrent villain or something. The name on the list of the week is OK but it's the same ol' same 'ol. I'm still watching but I'm not sure if I'll continue with season 2 if it continue the slight decline it has been on.

and i'm glad felicity is now in on the secret.

I hope they wrap up the booklist this season so that they can take the summer off and come back fully operational with an Arrow team. Even if they don't wrap up Tommy's dad.... I just like these episodes that have him more invested other than just a name in the book.

So he learned alot from Slade. Sorry I was never into the comics but I do know how deadly Slade is.

Wb did their thing with this. the story is ill, the casting was great and the director is filming this like a movie, i mean the visuals are sick not cheesy like smallville.

This is the one aspect of the show I just don't care about. Mostly because they don't give it enough time per episode to develop it. They need next season to do island episodes that have more content than the ones in the present timeline.
