Is actually "closer" to the ultimate universe, as opposed to the 616 (nerd speak)....

That being said, I can see the movies, shadowing the comics and the early volumes of the ultimates....where the Panther was introduced in the second volume and the second animated movie.

Which makes sense, in that, you know Alien invaders aren't only going to invade America.....
