it was a real chore trying to find even *one* new release per month that was worth seeing in theaters. subsequently, that led to less rentals, which led me to cancel my Netflix subscription (which I do periodically). although I'll probably renew it next month. I also watch a lot of football during the fall / winter and there's not much time left for catching up on foreigns or limited releases.

that's about it. you can't talk about something that hasn't been too exciting lately. most of the movie threads this year have been: "yeah, I watched it, it was mediocre / decent / better than average. cosign."
