Aside from (presumably) Maggie Gyllenhaal, does anyone really prefer Peter Sarsgaard over anyone else? In An Education, the third act turn, where you realize dude is schmuck, while it certainly was signaled earlier on by his lifestyle, wasn't all that "big" to me, because the second I saw / see Sarsgaard on the screen I thought / think "bum ass loser" (c) someone.

All I remember is feces and a strong feeling of claustrophobia. Oddly enough, it did give me great hope for the Fela biopic.

DiCaprio in The Departed = all-time top ten performance by an actor. (He and Gosling in Half Nelson represent the decade just passed on that list.)

Oh, no question, I do too. Blue Valentine is probably my most anticipated film of the year. He's my favorite actor.
