iTunes fail. It's supposed to drop on the 19th but I opened iTunes and it started downloading. I hate most of the specials Comedy Central has put out in the last few years but this shit is hilarious. He really goes in on his fat cousin, Harris.
497643, I saw him on the tour, definitely enjoyed it|

Thought it would have benefited from being a little shorter, so I'm curious to see what made it on the DVD and what didn't.
497656, how long did he do?|
Posted by thoughtprocess, Sat Jan-16-10 01:38 PM
497677, I think it was about 70 minutes|
Posted by Call It Anything, Sat Jan-16-10 03:39 PM
Not counting the encore where he came out and did the whole Randy shtick.
497676, I heard a pretty cool guy was the PM for that show...|

497704, On a somewhat related note|

I guess to get people excited for the special, or maybe because why not, Comedy Central had a Human Giant marathon last night/this morning, and I think they're going to play some more episodes tomorrow morning or afternoon. I stayed up a bit later than I should've watching a few episodes. I forgot how much I liked that show. It was fantastic.
497757, Let's go!|

497760, wait, do they have the rights to human giant?|
Posted by thoughtprocess, Sun Jan-17-10 12:05 AM
or is everything through viacom or something?
497764, Yeah, I'm not entirely sure how that worked out|
Posted by adam, Sun Jan-17-10 12:14 AM
But if it means Human Giant is on TV for a few hours, I'm not going to ask too many questions.
497766, true, they've been saying those guys are gonna put together a movie|
Posted by thoughtprocess, Sun Jan-17-10 12:39 AM
497767, Yeah I've read that as well. That would be pretty excellent|

But it also seems that Aziz and Jason Woliner sold some ideas to Judd Apatow, which is at least two Human Giant members. So who knows what we'll see first, if any of those at all. Hopefully they do all keep doing stuff, though, because I really like what I've seen by them so far.
Also, nice album choice in your avy. I actually had that same one as mine for a few months at some point before. There are so many fantastic bits on that album- just off the top of my head, obviously the KFC bowl one, the miracle of childbirth and Cirque Du Soleil are some favorites, but there was so much more brilliance I'm leaving out.
497779, yeah, there wasn't a weak point at all.|

If it weren't for the DJ and his Ikea joke, I wouldn't have laughed at all.

Just funny, smart yet kind of goofy at the same time.
45% funny, 45% smart, 10% angry goofy nerd.
499097, Oh yeah, the special is great|
Posted by KingMonte, Sun Jan-24-10 03:41 AM
The Randy stuff was what it always was - a gimmicky comic.
It wasn't as good as the rest of the special, but it didn't detract from the overall package.
