you could re-edit most of this trailer with a homeless dog, and nobody would even notice.

then it has the usual ingredients of a whitey saved me movie. him dancing with the kid, awkward "fistbumps", bullock throwing caution to the wind, marching into the hood all by herself to confront those evil thugs.

and think of all the stuff they didn't show. i'm sure there's a scene where bullock catches her rich friends making a racially insensitive joke, and i'm sure she knows just the right words to put them in their place.
