Eternal Sunshine was about a company that ENTERED YOUR BRAIN AND DELETED MEMORIES- such technology is a long, looooooooooong way off from existence. Hence, "science" fiction.

Clockwork Orange is about a dystopic future where the government uses video conditioning therapy to "cure" the violent impluses of gang members in Britain. While sure, behavioral therapy is used for psychotic individuals, it's not as extreme as depicted in the film.
