This movie, though...
When the trailers look terrible...
I mean TERRIBLE...

no, I think you're right on this one. It looks like its taking itself really seriously & I won't even bother seeing it (but I don't bother paying to go see much these days)
Wait until they make "Gargoyles" or "Darkwing Duck"...

Then I saw the movie and I glad I did. Then I saw the starship troopers sequels (all were direct to dvd I think) and I got angry with myself
I think GI Joe will be along those same lines.

Damn, this movie isnt getting any love. But why would it??? It looks terrible. But i wouldnt go as far as to compare it to Starship Troopers. I mean, i dont even know why that movie had such a big rep. Was it because of the nude showering scene???? That was a fucking stupid movie. Id rather watch The Fiddler on the Roof 24 hours straight.

As soon as I heard "I'm am american badass", I knew what kind of movie it was going to be. It's the film equivalent of a Kid Rock album, loud, flashy, with the occasional cool moment and very little thought or substance. And like a Kid Rock album, I've got no interest in it while sober.
