They took from so many sources and formed almost a collage of everything they enjoy from philosophy to anime to honk kong action films to the industrial scene, etc. If they took from 1 or 2 sources then that statement would hold more weight but when you take from probably 100 or more places and and piece them together I'd said that's a piece of art. Some ppl don't like that (Especially ppl who don't like Tarantino) but personally speaking I find it extremely interesting when ppl re-interpret the world they see as a film.
