It's probably difficult playing another person's interpretation of a character. Knowing how his version has to 'lead up to' Alec Guiness' portrayal as an older Obi Wan must've been tough. Let alone playing a person in one of the most beloved films of all time ( especially considering how nitpicky Star Wars fans are). Knowing how it ends up and keeping a bit of yourself in the role is probably difficult.

I'm not sure, but wasn't Ryan Phillipe in talks to play Anakin? I think that would've turned out better...
