451191, There's a Hollywood Conspiracy Theory....

Basically back in late 2000 early 2001 there was a writers strike in Hollywood, during which the gov't was able to get a number of mole's in the industry. The goal being theorized to sway public opinion on certain ideas. Notably the show Alias was one of five that debuted in the fall of 2001 with plots related to intelligence agencies, a season which started right after 9/11. There was no prior rationale to think such shows would be desired but in the aftermath of 9/11 the audience was primed for such dramas.

Notably the early Alias episodes delt with a lot of taboo subjects around things conspiracists had theorized with about for years. Presented in ways which were quite matter of fact and or tongue in cheek. The theory says these were created to introduce these complex concepts into public consciousness so that the weight of what was really behind them would be offset.

If you take that and apply it to what you're trying to say here, the time travel meme is something which we are being conditioned to accept. There are notable scientific areas around this area. Could it be conditioning for....

For the record though, I'm not necessarily a proponent of said theory, but recalled it upon reading your thread,
