that's already been settled by Cameron himself. He's already said what HE was going for in response #75. Plus... if you watch a trailer of Pocahontas... then a trailer of Dances with Wolves... and then the trailer of Avatar... And you can't tell the difference... I'm not sure if i can help you with that problem.

If talking about 'Advent Children' then GTFOH! But if you're refering to Square's first joint (i can't remember the name of it) then I would say that Avatar is on-Par with it and making strides, in many ways, to push the animation forward.
did you watch this trailer in the theatre? or at home?
