He's just bitter cause they wrote him off the show.

But it was clearly the right time to kill him off.

The whole season built up to it.

Stringer thought he could rise from just a thug on the street to a corrupt businessman. But the actual corrupt businessmen knew how to con him and then his ways on the street caught up with him.

There was no way he was making it to season 4.

Granite he was a good bad guy. Way better than Marlo. But he had to go.

I don't make much of what he said, I just read it as a "dang it, I missed getting more of that Wire bread," but he had to know his time was coming... whether it was in season 3 or season 4...



And gang, please be careful with them spoilers... even though it's been a few years, not everyone can watch the joints when we watch em, so just look out for your folks on them title spoilers... and yeah, as you can see, it *is* that serious... thnx

Elba didn't complain that they killed him off, he said that it made sense and had to happen. He was upset at the time for losing his steady-paycheck, but knew it was part of the game.

The only thing he said was rushed was Omar and Brother Mouzone getting together to track him down. He said usually the writers stretched things out over the season, whereas the whole saga unfolded in what, two or three episodes?

Every now and then something very un-ghetto came up in his voice. By season two I went to check imdb cause I was sure he wasn't really American.

wouldn't that work since it was part of stringer bell's persona to try and appear more sophisticated that the average gangster?

unless you're talking specifically about a british accent which would be pretty funny in a wire parody.

i'm not sure what specific moments referring to because i never really caught it. mcnulty's accent was obvious at times though.
