this is bullshit that has NOTHING to do with spiderman or a storyline in spiderman. it's just a pathetic attempt to sell comics to people who don't buy them and won't until it's mentioned on the news and they see dollar signs. and the real comic fans, young and old, who normal read the character are forced to either pay more or wait months for a copy.

and it has nothing to do with being a nerd/snob. using someone's fame, or using death (cap. amer, batman, superman, etc) is the ridiculous. but unfortunately, people follow like sheep.
