os Angeles (E! Online) – ABC has canceled Pushing Daisies, executive producer Bryan Fuller confirms to me exclusively.

According to reports, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money have also been canceled, but reps for both shows have declined to comment.

Is the pie-maker dead? Will we ever see him again? Read on for the exclusive inside dish straight from the top...

Bryan Fuller tells me, " Steve McPherson called me, and said 'We gave it the best shot we could.' "

According to Fuller, the facts are these: "It's very likely that Pushing Daisies will end after episode 13, which as you know, is a cliffhanger. But we are talking to DC Comics about doing comic books that will wrap up our storylines, and I already have a pitch for a movie ready to go.

"To be honest, I'm really not feeling very boo-hoo about it. I am so proud of the show. We put together 22 really good episodes, and there is a lot to be proud of. I'm sure I'll be working with a lot of these people again, and I would love to do so."

and i'm a regular Pushing Daisies viewer... bought the DVD and everything. but the show is just too much over the top.

Wonderfalls? ugh...

Dead Like Me? could barely get through the pilot... i hear it got kind good later, but i just could not stand the obnoxious styling.

(mind you: i LOVE style. The Pang Brothers are among my favorite filmmakers and i consider Belly a classic. but there are limits, man... there are limits.)

granted, I kinda agree with you on Belly as a film. But that movie is the dictionary picture of "style over substance"

I love imagination, and that show had it. This will be Lee Pace's(the pie maker)second show that got dumped. I like that dude,man. Fuck you, ABC/Fox(was it Fox that had Wonderfalls, or the WB ?). Either way, fuck 'em.

Pushing Daisies and DSM were startin to wear thin on my nerves a little tho, and i stopped checkin Eli Stone a while ago...i wish PD wasn't going out on a cliffhanger...

It's a midseason replacement for them, right?

"Pushing Daisies" is one of those shows I went out of my way to watch.

Aw, man, not Pushing Daisies! I hate that it's going to end with a cliffhanger.

I used to watch Eli Stone but stopped watching one or two episodes into this season. I needed to cut down my TV schedule, and Eli just wasn't a show that I was excited to watch.

............i'm so irritated by this. I expected "Daisies" but,"Dirty Sexy Money" ????????????????????????? So, this means no more Trip???????????????????? No more transexual love affairs ??????????? No more Jeremy trying to fuck everything in sight ????????????? No more Blair Underwood doing some of the best villian shit i've seen thus far ?????????????????? On a side note,no more "Pusing Daisies" pie hole.................:-( :-(
