Costner had a helluva run in the late 80's-early 90's, but like I said, he went on ahead and made some other stuff, like Waterworld (which I haven't seen in eons, so I can't really comment on it) and Wyatt Earp and The Postman, and all of a sudden he was an alleged self-indulgent movie star who thought his shit didn't stink... whatever... son is alright with me...
