And what's dope about them is that the code of ethics and all of that is really the same shit going on in the streets today.
Even better, a lot of the themes have to do with just being a man and hustling in general, and not the drug game in particular.
In fact, there's a mini-fad now where young boys be watching the crime movies. Not just young boys actually. Even older cats.
My boy works with young niglets/hispligets and made them watch Sugar Hill. After they had a session building about character and loyalty and all that. He said the kids felt it.
