Just adapt a comic storyline. Why is that so hard? And it ain't just Superman. All of 'em. I ain't saying you have to be shot by shot faithful (a la Rodriguez and Snyder), but for fuck's sake... I wish Hollywood would stop just taking properties and going "Well, let me retcon the whole fucking history of the character."
