What I like here is that you consider Moore to be 'Loved' and Forrest Gump to be 'Hated'... This shows me that you surround yourselves with fellow haters and contrarians. And that's commitment. Although I worry that if you don't 'Think Outside the Hate Box' a little more often, you might find yourself in a Hate Rut somewhere down the line. Just a little food for hate.

Yeah, I yelled at the person who insisted that I watch Saving Private Ryan. And I'm the only person I know who turned off Matrix after the first 30 or 45 minutes and just walked away, never looking back.

And this was right as I was swearing off sci-fi pretty much altogether because I had gotten sick of it in high school, came to see how lame and trite lots of it is. So I'm like fine I'll try this one, people tell me it's smart.

Then we get fucking attack of the machines all over with some pseudo-philosophical mumbo jumbo. God it sucked. I liked the action, but I wanted to smack everyone who ever praised the story in any fashion whatsoever.

as a rule I generally hate on Action Movies, Sequels, Romantic Comedies, Hood Flicks ( in the 'comedy' genre), and Pseudo-Artsy bullshit.

BUT before I proclaim it trash ( as I'm prone to do), I *will* still see it for myself.

After the dust has settled though, it does appear to mainly be teenagers and their parents with atrocious taste who did the largest bit of over-valuing in ND's case. I'm particularly pleased to see all the participant's post ND endeavors fall flat on their face.

I can't co-sign the Goonies assessment enough, though.

Because I don't really hate any of those things. I just wanted to be accepted by the hater community. I didn't care what I said or who I hurt. I know this doesn't mean much, if anything, but please believe me that I'm sorry for what I wrote. I'm... I'm sorry for everthing.

WOW. That's that "beyond the stars" level hate...

The role of Grandpa Joe was terribly miscast, and the whole plot really falls apart in the third act. Cinematography was workmanlike at best.

The Matrix - As I've said before, it was the fake philosophy discussions that made me hate this movie. Though the movie wasn't all that.
Nashville - Really, all things Altman. But Nashville just stuck in my craw.
