294816, Mr. Hood 75's 10K2 PTP post.

I'm celebrating reaching 10,000 posts on OKP. And since my two main "homes" on this board are The Lesson and PTP, I figured I'd make a post for each one. For the past two a half years y'all have made the work day much more enjoyable. And you've caused me to sign up for NetFlix and spend waaaay too much money on comics.

So, yeah, ask me something movie, comic book, or television related. I'll try and answer. Or the post will go wood. Either one.

Oh, and if ya want free mixes check out: http://board.okayplayer.com/okp.php?az=show_topic&forum=5&topic_id=1275284&mesg_id=1275284&page=2

Thank you.

Always great to read your shit too.

We gotta set up that "OKP night @ the A's game" whenever you get a chance.
294822, Question: Netflix burnout
Posted by janey, Wed Jun-27-07 11:44 AM
Have you found yourself getting dvd's you're all excited about and then just letting them sit for a couple of weeks?

I'm kind of freaked out.

294825, Yeah, common occurance

I've head "Block PArty" and "Science of Sleep" sitting on my coffee table for months. Baseball season started, so I partially understand my not getting around to them, but this is getting ridiculous.

I imagine it's tougher for you with all the TV series you're running through.
294827, one problem is that I keep *buying* those tv series
Posted by janey, Wed Jun-27-07 11:58 AM
so I have movies from netflix, which I think, oh, I can't watch this on a weeknight, I have to wait until the weekend, and then the weekend comes and I'm so into the series that that's all I watch.

I just sent back two today that I really want to see but I know I'm going to keep ignoring them, so I'm gonna just put them back in at the bottom of my queue and see what happens in a few months...
294833, I had Blockbuster total access

I've been copying everything I get so I can watch it later. Problem is, I've built up about 50+ discs that I haven't had time to watch. I cancelled last month so I can catch up. I'll probably reactivate it sometime next year.
294826, Or a couple of YEARS?

I literally kept my movies (which I decline to name) for two years

Like, I got them in the mail in June 2005 and just returned them two weeks ago

294828, Wow, they really don't care?

I thought someone at netflix was looking at my account, shaking their head, and going "tsk tsk tsk"

lol
294830, Apparently not. Although I'm sure if the movies were "new" at the time

I would have gotten a "Come on, bruh" email from Netflix

Like, literally, the email would have read:

To: -------@hotmail.com
From: Netflix.com

Dear ------,

Come on, bruh.

Sincerely,
Netflix
