Its pathetic character development will put any sensible insomniac
directly to sleep.


I mean...wow.


What a load of shit.


It should have just taken the bait and become the action movie that it
wanted to be. Its action scenes sucked, because of the overemphasis
on all this "meaning" and "politics" and bullshit that was also poorly done.


And do we really need a Jewish Keanu Reeves?

I haven't seen a more boring lead actor is a long, long, long, time.


I'm charging Steven Spielberg with failure to obey OE's request for character
development.


If your protagonist doesn't have a real character, than his/her actions are nothing
but random ass occurences, and I don't feel for him/her at all. Your film then descends
into a series of cool things happening to a crash test dummy.


Remake this shit into a 'Blown Away' type action movie, and call it a night.


No excuses, Spielberg. Granted, Tom Hanks is a much better actor, but his lead in
'Saving Private Ryan' was thrice as developed with less screen time.
