that's probably the most i've laughed at a 'dumb comedy' on the first viewing, ever. i didn't really like Anchorman the first time I saw it, but now I love it. This movie was hilarious all the way through the first time.

Gary Cole was great as Ricky Bobby's dad.

SB Cohen played a good 2nd (or 3rd) fiddle. Instead of having two comedic geniuses compete for attention, Cohen was more of a secondary character. It worked well.

John C Reilly was a great comedic sidekick.
