3. On Cinema in the 1970s: America vs. Germany. . . which was better, the "New German Cinema" (Fassbinder, Herzog, Schlondorff, Wenders, etc) or the American New Wave (Altman, Scorsese, Coppola, Bogdanovich, etc)?
