Geeks are raging in other places because of the 'whitewashing' and the fact they took liberties with the source materials. I get it, but they forget the first movie as esoteric and trippy as it was could be boring as hell at times.

But taken on its own its a solid ass movie. Scarjo did her thing, the tech was great (creeping onto body horror at times), some of the side characters got some cool scenes, and the world itself was cool as fuck. Only beef is that some of the action setpieces they cribbed from the OG movie they should have done something different/made it their own. I wanna see it again, and in 3D this time.
