Kermit being with Miss Piggy despite him being an enthusiastic and overall good guy and her being a porcine tornado with, deep down, a good heart is compelling and kind of sweet. With this show, he's just a frog that's attracted to pigs.

I don't know, I think efforts try to "ground" this show in the real world is what is going to hold it back. And prevent it from having any real heart. I'm hoping the show writers can course correct as weeks go on; it always takes TV comedies a little bit to find the right voice.
