when i saw the libertine (johnny depp movie), it was just me, my date, and two strangers in a small theater. some man falls asleep and starts snoring loud as fuck. some woman ahead of us is not having it and tells him to wake up, but he keeps falling asleep and snoring loudly. finally, she was like, "I DIDN'T PAY TO HEAR YOU SNORE!" and got an usher. i think there are people who just go to movies to nap. they may or may not have paid to get in; they might just theater hop. i would imagine the matinees and flops are the better theaters to fall asleep in.
